From my family history, date and then marry the first person the elders approve, then it always ends in divorce, just ask both my sisters, 1 brother, and more than a few cousins.

Baptism and At What Age?
by karnage ini have seen and noticed that most people who are raised as jw's get baptized at a young age.
ages like 14-19. how is it that someone can dedicate their life to jehovah at these ages, when maturity is still in development?
this seems to be something that jw's push and practice on a regular basis.

I never did, but they started pressuring me at 11 years old, My nephew was baptized at 12, how sad!

My Grandma got a Christmas Present from the DUB's
by Wordly Andre inevery christmas day my cousins and i go over and have christmas breakfast with grandma, this year we lost one of our cousins, (she went back to meetings) so anyway while we were over talking to grandma, i noticed a book on her table, it was the my book of bible stories (soft cover, what ever happend to the yellow book??
) anyway i asked my grandma "where the heck did you get that??
" she said "your aunt dropped it off along with another book, i guess she wanted us to know whats wrong with celebrating christmas, so they gave it to me as a christmas present!

I was totally shocked, how stupid is that, my grandma is 80 years old, born a Catholic, will die a Catholic and in the mean time will be a Catholic, they all know this yet they never stop. My other cousin said grandma if you don't mind I will take this out of your home, I asked her why are you running low on toilet paper she said no, that the paper is too rough! we all laughed.
well at least we now know that JW's are giving christmas presents after all

Jehovah Bus
by Wordly Andre inyesterday while driving back from christmas shopping, i saw a large bus like one of those tour buses, it said something on the side but it was in spanish, but i saw that it said jehovah, i asked my wife to translate and she said its says: " find jehovah while you still can" i was like what the hell???
spanish congergation is really out there with their own bus and all.

Sinus problems
by Wordly Andre ini have had sinus problems my entire life, recently a friend told me about this sinu-cleanse thing, its a sinus cleansing treatment that you can get at cvs pharmacy, its pretty cool, its a little pot that you mix warm water with saline solution and put in one nostral and it drains out the other, the first time i used it i had a bad sinus head ache and thought well i will give this thing a try, so i mixed it up and did the treatment, blood clots and pink then red water started coming out of my nose, and after i noticed my headache was gone, i could breath great, and felt a lot less pressure in my head.
this thing is pretty awesome!
just thought i share with all of you.. sorry if its a bit gross.

Since I posted this, I have been using mine, twice a day, I have to tell all of you I normally take at least 2 weeks or more to start feeling better when I have a sinus attack, I still feel great, I have been calling all my friends to tell them about this, I think Sinucleanse people need to start paying me to market this ha ha ha

DOES ANYONE STILL NOT CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS???
by chuckyy injust wondering if anyone still does not celebrate xmas since leaving jws.....or like me do you think"to hell with it", and join in the festivities.
if you do celebrate it, do you still have pangs of guilt for celebrating this "pagan" festival???.

regardless if you question pagan orgins, or if its just a commercial holiday, Celebrate, have fun, start making good memories, you have been waiting for the end of the world for so long, now its time to live and have a bit of fun.
The true meaning of christmas is the birth of Jesus, just keep that in mind, don't let all the JW crap get in the way.

I got mine from CVS pharmacy, there is a coupon at http://www.sinucleanse.com/ $2.00 off I paid 11.99 for mine, well worth it, it came with 40 packets of saline poweder, the pot and a mixing spoon, I slept great last night and even took it with me to the office today and used it after lunch.
